3yCan you relate as an ENFP?
People think it’s just the INTJs that are lonely and closed off… but we are invited to the parties, fun activities, but our souls read it as all empty entertainment and seek depth and purpose… we choose to be alone, choose to not go on dates we’re asked out on, choose to go months on end hiding from the world friends/family. Am I alone here?! We ‘appear’ so happy and connected, but inside there are only so few who could really understand us… (edited)

Well duh. We crave some kind of meaning to everything in life. We want all the socialising we can get but only if it means something. Most parties are vain and vapid and lack any deeper value a lot of the time and it's up to us as ENFP to either find that meaning or create it ourselves. Which is why I run and promote events now haha.
