That's a good topic. I think there's a difference between arguing and debating. For me, arguing involves emotion and lacks logic, and a good debate should only be carried out by good logical reasoning with evidence, if needed.

In other words, for me, arguing involves low-value arguments and debating involves high-value arguments.
