Called my grandpop today. I'm not close to my father or my father's side of the family but I haven't heard from him since the start of the pandemic. It was a short conversation (he's a very reserved guy) but it was nice to hear from him.
Never be afraid to reach out to a loved one, even if just to say hi. (edited)
