I think it’s sad when a parent has a favorite child and treats them better than the other(s). I’m referring to families with more than one child.

In my experience, I think it has to do with the connection the child has with the individual parents. Also whether or not 1 child is biological and the other is foster. It also has to do with parenting types and whether or not 1 of the parents is a step-parent...and was there a divorce and is the non-cuatodial parent still active in their life? And how was that child raised? Loads of variables. 😱

No parent's really have a fav child. It's just that one listens to what the parent says and the other is kind of Rebelish (according to them) , well the rebelish nature is indeed bcz they aren't getting enough attention. Nevertheless, they do love both the children equally, it's their care and concern that drives them to say stuff they don't really mean and they think it might help us get back on track!
