So I'm writing a fanfiction we're a gay character is genderbend into a female. Is this offinsive bey the other chari is not genderbent (edited)

I think it depends on what the intention of genderbending is. Yes there are people who do it as a type of fetish (which isn't inherently problematic), but I've also seen people use genderbends as a way to explore trans, nonbinary, and intersex identity. So I think it's more complex than the discourse about it lets on.
