3yWhat is your favorite fantasy novel?
Mine is The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. But I like the whole series so far. It is thick and full of lore. I think what I like most is that it explains enough for you to understand the weird fantasy element but somethings you need to learn by reading the other books in the shared universe.

I’m such a huge fan of Terry Pratchett. Any and all his works I’ve been trying to collect and read. Even if I already own it, if it’s a different cover or such I’ll buy it again. I love his use of word play. How he takes things literal at times and yet fantastically. I also love that he is challenging social norms and the roles society tries to impose on us.

Brandon Sanderson is fantastic. I've got the first two books of the Stormlight Archive on hold through my library; I devoured them when the first came out but it's been a long time and I want to re-experience them as audiobooks! The Night Watch-focused Discworld books also have a special place in my heart, as does The Labyrinth of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers. (I've only read the English translation since I don't know German.)

"The sea of Trolls" I'm afraid I don't know the author off the top of my head. I read it years ago and was absolutely infatuated with it and the scenery it depicted, and even though I don't remember most of it, that pure enjoyment of the book just burned it into my mind as one of my favorite novels I've read.
