I try not to hand out unsolicited advice, but maybe some actual clothes would help 😂 Really though, you look like you've got style to spare. Where's the anxiety coming from?

@Austin I wear mostly dresses and leggings. whatever feels comfortable but is still cute. I like sandals and boots. I don't wear heels as much anymore. I love a good running shoe.

@IVY ROSE I love my Timberlands. I basically dress like I might go hiking at any minute, which is silly. Other than that, Floridian Flip Flops!! Honestly, I have a bad habit of walking on my toes. I've never worn high heels but... I'm just saying🤭

Thanks for letting me know. First impressions can be so meaningful, but it does cause me a little pain when I pass up a joke. I agree completely. I also feel that when I'm wearing something that makes me happy, that helps put out that positive energy too. I saw someone wearing this adorable axolotl tshirt earlier, and I could only think of a similar one I passed on a couple weeks ago. Next time!

Never wrong to dress comfortably. I think that shirt with the gymnast lanterns is nice and imaginative though, and while I don't know about fashion, I like your style! Personally, I love the edgey emo album art they smacked on t shirts for like MCR, The Used, AFI, etc. They were grim and provocative, and really identifiable!

@Austin "Gymnast lanterns" 🤣 It's actually album art from Dance Gavin Dance - Artificial Selection. When i bought the shirt, i analyzed the title of the album, and then the art, then i was like ohhhh it makes soooo much senseeee. At the trunk, you see all these animals lining up to the top. Then they become ornaments on the tree. It's a play on Darwin's natural selection. Instead of nature choosing traits by selective breeding, these animals are choosing their traits and obtaining it from the tree. I have several The Used shirts too~ My favorite is the one with the In Love and Death album with the heart hanging from a tree, which is also my wallpaper on my phone and laptop, and possibly other devices too. I guess i like trees 😂

@Elijah I like Mushrooms ©_© You've got to cut me slack on that one, the image quality is not there 😂 It's a really cool idea for an album cover. I just listened to DGD for the first time, and I accidentally went in thinking it was going to be something light and melodic xD Listened to Evaporate. My favorite The Used albums are their self titled one and In Love and Death. All That I've Got was the song I had on repeat all the time. Just loved the lyrics and the varied instruments.

@Austin Not bashing ya, just found gymnast lanterns as a funny interpretation of it~ If i had no idea what it was, i'd see it as an animal Christmas tree. You chose the song that incorporates a bunch of their previous songs towards the end. From 3:56 onward, those are all lyrics from other songs. They've got a groovy-ass guitarist, in which a whole genre was named after him - Swancore. Their screamer has the weirdest lyrics ever, but some people were able to crack it down, saying that his lyrics are meant to be paradoxical. And i can relate Dance Gavin Dance to The Used. In 2011, current clean vocalist, Tilian Pearson, auditioned for Saosin, who had let go of vocalist Cove Reber, and released some demos with them. His band at the time, Tides of Man, felt betrayed and kicked him out, becoming just an instrumental band. Saosin did not hire Tilian because their old vocalist, Anthony Green, was planning on doing stuff with them. Tilian was forced to find another band, submitting auditions, and eventually landing a spot with Dance Gavin Dance. In 2015, Justin Shekoski of Saosin filled in for The Used, while guitarist Quinn Allman was taking time off to become a father. The Used... or probably just Bert... decided to kick Quinn out and continue on with Justin as a permanent member. Like Tilian and his former band, Saosin felt betrayed and kicked out Justin. Then not too long after, The Used kicked out Justin for some weird reasons. Therefore, i can conclude that my top 2 favorite bands are connected in some way~ But mushrooms are definitely cool!

@Elijah no worries, I hadn't interpreted your comment as bashing at all. That is quite a lot to remember, have you told this story before? 😁 I listened to another song, Son of Robot. I'm giving them a shot to see if they're a good fit for me

@Austin Naw, i just end up reading all the drama by accident when trying to figure out if bands are still trying to make new music lol. Son of Robot is definitely one of my favorites~ I think you may also like We Own the Night, Summertime Gladness, the whole Jackpot Juicer album from this year (Current Events, in particular), Carl Barker (originally by their second singer, but i like the live album version with Tilian better), Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most (originally by their first singer, but both versions are great), Semi-Charmed Life (Third Eye Blind cover), and That's What I Like (Bruno Mars cover). Sorry, ended up suggesting more songs than i planned to haha.

@Austin They've got a whole Robot With Human Hair series and a Strawberry Swisher series. What the songs are about, i have no idea. I just like how they sound haha. For their Bruno Mars cover, instead of "Strawberry champagne on ice," they say "Strawberry Swisher on fire," which i think is a really cool way to make it their own

I was always a jeans and tshirt kind of guy, but I've been trying to mix it up recently. I like these old-timey hats though, so I definitely fail that last point 😄 And what's not to like 😉

A very rational response. I have a few shirts that I love, they've got these cute characters on them, but sometimes I feel a bit silly wearing them. I did get a compliment the other day about one. Definitely gotta pay that forward
