The Patriarchal societal norms rattle my mind when it comes for looking for love when you're the type of person to always over think and not give yourself life credit. In my head I'm the trad wife that takes care of their man while rejecting obligations put on "women", but how does this work?

Communication is key

Many people (men and women) "listen" only to respond. Society is in desperate need of people who are willing and capable of listening to understand instead. Take a breath. Process what was said. Release the urge for the knee jerk response and be intentional with your words instead of instinctive.
