Love doesn't really exist for many of us. Most of what people call "love" is really just infatuation with a fantasy—an image they have of you in their heads. Money can make someone lust for you because it signals importance and "high-value" in their fantasy. To truly love someone, you have to break through that fantasy and SEE them, not the social hierarchy in which they supposedly rank. If not, you're just projecting onto their image and falling in love with an illusion. Most of us are too selfish, cowardly, and lacking in self-awareness to do that though.
