Miami friend finder

Hi! Looking for friends to hang out with. I'm in Kendall, but I do drive. I'm not really into the "clubbing and partying" scene. No drugs, though I do have a medical marijuana license. I don't know enough Spanish to carry out full conversations, although I understand more than I can speak. I love reading and animals, sci-fi and fantasy, binging tv shows, learning new things, animals, music and video games. I want to get back into volunteering, and I'd love to build a friend group that can eventually get together for friendsgiving, summerween, December holiday parties, galentine's day (No discrimination, so maybe we can change it to PALentine's day? 🤔), etc. I believe that as an adult, friendships do not and usually cannot be 24/7, 365 days a year kind of relationships. I'm looking for the kind of friendships where you keep each other updated, but sometimes you may not hang out for a month or two. Yet when you do get together, it's like you saw each other yesterday. You easily fall back into that comfortable rhythm. I also believe that friendships are not always 50/50. Sometimes one person can only give 25%, and that's okay. The other person picks up the slack and gives 75% for a bit. We all go through difficult times in life. I want friends that understand that, and choose to give support instead of distance during those times. Feel free to send me a message or comment on this post.
