4I keep seeing some people, on here, just sp4mm¡ng the food feed with pictures they've taken online and passing it off as their own...and I wonder why? The only person they're cheating is themselves. Is it the fake thrill of approval? That dopamine hit for false recognition? It is baffling. On the opposite hand, I see the pictures from actual creative cooks that are incredible and they are so simple and non attention seeking, and again wonder why there isn't more of their content, and less of the previous kind..?! There's so many good cooks on this platform and in case people hadn't realised I'm a big time foodie, I very much prefer seeing your stuff than the obviously fake stuff.. seeing that 2 of the top, in this category, are all based on stolen content is pretty sad. Now, I'm not comparing it to other tags, where we obviously share things we've seen online, like memes, quotes, funny stuff... that's a tad different, especially as we tend to show where it is from. I'm mostly wondering when it comes to the posts where it's more creative like foods, art, etc... and when they actually pretend it's their own, without acknowledging the person who created it. I think I did once share someone's cooking, over a year ago, but it was because her aesthetics are immaculate and the whole video was soothing, but again the person's name would have been included..(if I did share it, I don't end up sharing everything I plan to.) Don't know if that makes any sense or if I'm overthinking again. (edited)

8It’s kinda the same question as with, “why are the Paul brothers popular when their content is so bad?” And it’s kinda down to the maketing and attention seeking behaviour. Actually good creators rarely have the same attention or following as slop creators, because they can’t keep up. But I’d also argue that the good creators have a better and more loyal following than slop creators 😊
