I wouldn't change mine, but I would be very considerate and cautious if they had allergies not to just have that certain food laying around or whatever.

I respect their diet and I hope they'd respect mine. But I think it's case by case. If they're gluten intolerant and don't want gluten in the house, that makes sense to me. If they have allergies, that makes sense. But if they're a vegan, for example, I'm okay if cook their own food, and let me cook mine, but not telling me I can't eat animal products that I make for myself.

100%. Edited to clarify. I would have no problem stopping or not eating things or having things in the house that would cause allergic reactions or temptations or even if they got bit by that weird tick that makes you allergic to meat. We are sharing a home and a kitchen and cooking utensils and all of that I'm not going to make it harder for my partner to sustain the life that they're used to as long as they can also understand that when they are not around if I want something that is sustained from imma get it. I can see where some people would but personally? No. I grew up in a house where literally everyone had a different diet. I can cook 3 seperate and completely different meals simultaneously with cross contamination. 4-5 if they require the oven or a crackpot. I can respect my partners pescetarian diet or gluten allergies while still enjoying a whole wheat all American beef burger. And if she can't appreciate that, then what CAN she appreciate about me?

Yes and no. If it means just eating healthier, natural foods, then sure. If this means they want you to basically starve yourself because Sarah online told her a juice cleanse is the best way to live, then I'll stick with hamburgers and steaks any day. πŸ˜‚
