I grew up playing with SNES games, some of my favorite ones were the Kirby games and some Japan exclusive games I haven't been able to find nowadays. Then I moved to Gameboy Color, and I loved the Pokémon series (still carrying some of my Pokémon from older gens into newer games :) )
