Anything that seems interesting to you. The games you play will depend solely on your own tastes. I only recommend that you play on easy mode for your first few games then move up the difficulty as you dive deeper.

I would say think about what you want from games. Do you like pretty pictures? Do you want to get spooked? Are you taken by action? Do you want to build a city? Do you want to socialize? Games are an incredibly broad medium, so there's something for everyone. But it depends a lot on what kind of experience you would like. I mean you say you have wanted to get into it. What's your jam?

It is never too late to get into gami g, and for a first game, I always recommend narrative-driven games since they are closer to movies than others. The new Tomb Raider trilogy is pretty good for that, The Last of Us is great as well
