I like horror games to a certain extent. I really enjoy the Resident Evil series. Especially the second part has captivated me. I also want to play through Alien Isolation soon, but to be honest, I find it quite scary, especially when you don't know how the alien behaves. I've heard that it learns while you play. But basically, all horror games behave similarly, and the games provide the essentials you need.

Yeah, why not? I have arachnophobia (even with the ones in Minecraft) but I'm glad I played it back then. I met a lot of great people through it and even found it fun to face my fears in games. Nowadays, I love playing Phasmophobia with a very good friend and it's funny every single time✌🏻

Outlast is not for everyone

It's one of those games that I love for the atmosphere but it drives me crazy with the gameplay, running around for 20 minutes looking for a damn access key just ruins everything, I think.

But go for the trials which is multiplayer and that way you lose a bit more of the fear.

That’s kinda a mean move from your friend. The horror game I recommend to people newer to horror games would be Layers of Fear

I can't even look at it out of the fear it instilled in me when I played it, but I'm going to finish it on its highest difficulty.

Phew, as a scaredy-cat, Outlast is really hardcore 😅 If anything, I would start with something lighter in horror. Maybe something like Until Dawn. It also has a creep factor, but it's definitely not as advanced in horror level as Outlast. On the other hand, if you can handle Outlast, you can handle most other horror games 😂

Dude, I stopped playing this game, not because I was scared, but because the game glitched and the sound disappeared. It happened right where you end up in the dark well full of water where the ability to hear is paramount.
