The occupation of Samas Aran
Ok so it's common knowledge that Samus is supposed to be a bounty hunter. Yet has she only goes after these monstrous creatures. I've never seen her actually get paid for any bounty.. I mean it's great she saves the universe and all. Yet idk. Who is putting out these bounties? Is it like a veemo situation? Do they just take her word on it or does she take a picture with her space phone? And on that note, does her helmet have Bluetooth? 8s it like a touch screen she presses with her nose? Does she use her ice beam in place of using a refrigerator? Can she avoid April 15th by going all ball form? Although I can't imagine she needs to pay much in tax.. seeing as I've yet to see any money earned by this "bounty hunter"

I always thought she was more like a US Marshall like the old west version they were essentially bounty hunters but they did work directly for the government so they didn't get payed in bounts but where sent out to hunt specific wanted individuals

Well it's like one of the few job titles they could give her besides biology-professor-space-cop. I think the actual story around her as a character is not existent until the Gameboy Advance; iirc Fusion had a manga released along side of it that gets into her backstory and ties it into the chozo (weird past aliens that carved all the item holding statues and built the tech on the planets you explore) as well as giving her reasons for pursuing space pirates. I think before it was just hey you in space go roll into a morph ball and look around for secret rooms now Edit oh yeah I also forgot they kind of retcon some things later to kind of attach her to an almost privateer type military contractor or something. They also have her in like some kind of cadet role for awhile learning to use her suit it's very silly I kind of block out other M but it's somewhere in there (edited)
