There's so many good ones it's hard to choose but Xenogears has always been a favorite of mine. I even have the Perfect Works book with all the concept art for the various mechs in the game. It's cool as hell.

I honestly couldn't name a best, but, if you're interested in decent newer ones, Octopath Traveler is a great story rich game

I got my new cabinet! It also has 5000 plus games. Just love the ninja turtles theme. (edited)
