Hypothesis. Maybe humans developed a bad mutation of some sort that changed them maintaining balance with nature Maybe from viruses. Could explain the rapid change from a more hunter gather species to agricultural and industrial. Viruses can carry genetic information from the last host into the new.

Hey, you know which nucleotidic diversity indexes are more suitable for population genetics?
