A new Karmic theory

People present a polished social front, but it's when a fire is lit under their feet that their true colors worm their way out and these usually are not pleasant colours. Nobody would be surprised by us asking ourselves "Why can't they strive to be better than themselves? Why don't they acknowledge their feelings and actions and ask if it's truly who they want to be?" Or less philosophically; "What on earth are these people thinking?". It seems that Camelot (the world) can be a very silly place sometimes. Some argue the world must have been designed, perhaps it was, but an argument against that is it can feel as though the design favors the negative lifestyles which makes us question the intelligence of it's design. A lot of where power flows toward is appearances and performance. A person can potentially gain a following and influence by simply acting ingenuine. Those willing to engage in lieing or manipulation often are seen amassing 'power'. And it's more than just lieing and performance the design also seems to favour those who choose violence, domination and force, to wage war, to conquer, and break down others. Who designs a world where those willing to pull spear on someone can win the game? Imagine hundreds of peaceful tribes, then, one thats morally corrupt decides to expand by violence. They proceed to take out every peaceful tribe and it's that simple, suddenly they're all gone. They didn't stand a chance because they refused to fight. You might argue that people are responsible for their choices and bad people will get their comupance but there's still that little fact that it's the victims of their irresponsible actions who suffer the pain with no compensation or reward. This brings me back to the idea of karma or hell. If the world genuinely tracked karma, it would have to count every person, every action, every consequence, add it up, compare to a standard and then judge who goes left and who goes to right, how much punishment is deserved or whether they should be rewarded. Where would it store all this information? In some kind of spiritual RAM? The world would need to grow infinitely large just to store all this data. A foolish world teaches people to be violent when it's bad for everyone and the world itself. A smart world teaches people do be fair and benevolent. And a genius world may hides it's plans where no one can see them or make them appear opposite to ensure no one can count cards and fix the game. Let's look at how that would play out. If you choose to be bad, and you can do bad, it often appears you win. There's plenty of historical evidence for this. Bad people often live good lives, reaching old age, having done wrong and gained a lot of seeming rewards until in the end they die peacefully in their sleep without ever facing justice. How can this happen? Yet, it happens frequently. You can imagine karma or hell exists, that bad stuff is accumulating, and there's a reckoning on the "other side." But there's no tangible evidence of this, however what if the world is a filtration system. One can't filter divinity, one needs material to filter material, you can strain coffee through a strainer but U can't strain divine integrity to see what if it's robust. At the end of the day, if individuals remain good despite everything the world throws at them, even if war comes to their door and they still refuse to harm other, even in unrequited love, or even if inheritance gets stolen, the pressure did not squeeze them through filter, they are solid. But as for everyone else? They had a price, the world broke them down and they filtered through into the world. These individuals weren't truly committed to being good. When presented with reasons to do wrong, they rationalized their actions. They might say, "In this situation, I can justify doing evil. Because this person isn't innocent." Or "this is fine and acceptable because it's only a lessor evil" And then, in this hypothetical filter system, they show they can't hold their potatoes. The only way I can conceive of this particular system as a designed system is if its ultimate goal is to identify genuine virtue from mercenaries that will sell it to the highest bidder. This is just a theory, a silly fun one. So it's not truly about whether the world has karma or not, if it's a filter or if it's designed. It's more of a myth thats designed to points you toward something about YOU. What kind of person will you be? Do you truly stand for good? Will you remain good if the world offers benefits or potential loss? At what point would you accept an offer, make the deal, and say, "For that, I'll be bad. For that, I'll cross my lines"? Ultimately, it all comes down to us and our commitment. Will we stay true to ourselves, true to good, or will we join the masses, chasing worldly validate ourselves as having some kind of power? What is all that power of ownership or credit truly worth if you can't live with yourself, if you're not doing right by your own principles and beliefs? I don't personally believe in souls, or that I have one to corrupt or lose. One doesn't have to be spiritual or religious to see the value of character, but our characte even in the mundane sense of the world seems incredibly important. It is the one permanent thing that is with you and continues on with you in every moment all the way to the end. Your principles, what guides your choices, who you are in this moment that's what truly is, and what no one can change or give or take away, the only person that can better it or lose it is you by your own choices. We all make mistakes. We all have a past where we've messed up. But let's say I meet someone who is good, reliable, awesome, and a legend now, their past is simply the crucible that led them to truly understand what's important. I won't judge them by their past, I believe that commitment to present goodness is that which is truly paramount. The world is a certain way. People are constantly urged: "Look, here's the cliff! You can fall into the abyss and become the worst humanity has to offer! And it's cool guys! Come on, jump off the cliff with me! Guns, knives, cars status, hard drugs, objectifying people, violence, the bad things are good" And a large portion of the world, perhaps even more than half, rushes towards that cliff and leaps. But that doesn't make it a good thing, actually it means they're foolish. They aren't critical thinkers. They don't consider the impact of their actions on themselves, on their fellow human beings, or on the future destiny of humanity. People are actively shaping a destiny where humanity devolves into monstrosity, if large groups continue following in that path, is that smart? Intelligent? It wouldn't matter if every single other person on the planet jumped off that cliff. What matters is that YOU don't. Because what other people do is simply another temptation designed to make you question yourself: "Oh, maybe im not enough. Maybe goodness is somehow bad because people arnt falling at my feet, maybe it's better to do bad" That's the effect of prioritizing what others are doing or anything in the eorld. It breaks us down, makes us doubt good, makes us consider bad as good or right. But it's not, You ARE doing it right. You ARE on the right track you ARE legend incarnate because your the good that still hasn't faulted, there's been some hard times but you never changed, it's so easy to changed but you never changed. So, just keep it real, man. Sometimes life is hard, and we feel beaten down. But keep going. These challenges are temporary, and we will always get through them. Even when it feels unbearable, if you don't try to force a fix, you'll be fine again given nothing but time. The answer is simply not letting it break you down. The strongest people in the world are those who acknowledge the pain but resolve to keep going. They always make it through. That's all you have to do, nothing else. No special tricks or anything, just keep going and keep being you and don't let anything convince you that what power can give you or what the loss of power can take from you can give or take anything real from you, because you arnt power, you are good (edited)

Oh Gods, you have delved deeply. Masks for different outcomes are much used. I am going to have to reread I'm afraid. First read may not be enough.

It doesn't always take material to filter material mate; light, sound, radiation, electrical current and a host of other phenomena can be filtered... Information, which is ordered energy, too can be filtered... our minds filter all the time... And you're correct to say we do not HAVE souls... it isn't like having a body. Who/what inhabits the body and observes the mind, while the mind is doing its thing? We ARE the soul... "Don't diddle the dose!" - Terence McKenna πŸ˜† (edited)

Ash, I was just asking myself why do bad things keep happening to me? I'm a good person, or am I? I questioned myself. It doesn't really matter how good you are but, it's just in my nature. I wondered how much more would it take for me to break bad? How much more can one take? I think it's innately in me to move forward. Our bodies want to survive. Some of us can tolerate more pain and suffering. When I think back to my childhood I was always this way. My siblings would say I was the strong one. These days I think the drive is fading.
