In search of opinions.
I have a Fender Stratocaster that I play through a Fender Champion 110 amp and I love its dirty sound. However, no matter what pick-up setting I use, I can't get a nice smooth/creamy sound out of it. And don't get me wrong, I do love that dirty crunchy sound, but I don't want that to be the only sound I can produce. So today I happened to have to make a stop at the guitar shop and saw an Epiphone there for $700. Now my question for those Gibson players here; should I buy the Epiphone or should I wait and save up more money and just get a Gibson?
