I deal with heartbreak by writing. Tbh, i havent written a poem since college. And that was when i was in love with my then college sweetheart. We broke up, it didnt hurt so much, despite being together for 7 years. We grew apart and different. Thats over 12 years ago. Recently had my heart broken. And i must not be taking it well, cause i have beeb writing like crazy.

Man I wish I knew If you have friends or people at work you're friendly with the two things you could do is try to not be alone with your thoughts. I couldn't listen to music anymore after my breakup but there were hours long podcasts that helped me fall asleep because focusing on someone else's conversation was so much better then me thinking about anything. And try to hang out with your friends as much as you can. A lot of things changed for me when I actually had co workers that were cool with me
