On This Day in History - September 14, 1960
September 14, 1960 #OTD A Braniff International Airways DC-7C, N5900, was being taxied from the hangar at Dallas-Love Field to the maintenance run up area to test its engines. A ground qualified inspector was taxiing the aircraft with the hydraulic system in 'bypass' which caused the aircraft to lose its braking ability. The aircraft struck the front of a building, causing serious damage to the forward fuselage. The inspector died of his injuries while five other occupants survived. Pictured: A Braniff International Airways Douglas DC-7, similar to the aircraft involved in the accident.

Yes, it is true that Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, is home to numerous mysterious pyramids located alongside the Wei River. Now i remember when people would say "why is history taught in school?" So I'm curious what everyone thinks. Should history be continued to be taught in school or not?

They were ahead of us in everything..
What technique or tool did they have to be able to carve this statue on the hardest types of marble with such amazing precision? It could only be if they had advanced techniques, because now, despite the claim of technology and progress, we don't see such a sculpture in our time.
