What technique or tool did they have to be able to carve this statue on the hardest types of marble with such amazing precision? It could only be if they had advanced techniques, because now, despite the claim of technology and progress, we don't see such a sculpture in our time.

I wouldn't say its about advanced techniques but more about how back then artists had patrons supporting them and their careers. One could spend months or even years creating some pieces without having to worry about necessities. Nowadays is not really a thing to have a patron, and time is very valuable so its hard to be able to dedicate oneself to learn, practice and achieve such craftsmanship for a living, not even mentioning the materials needed for all of it. Its not impossível, but very hard.
