Theatre of Blood (1973)

The Abominable Dr. Phibes was my favourite Vincent Price movie, until I watched Theatre of Blood! Sure, the plots may be weirdly similar. Both are considered horror comedies that involve themed murders, but this time we get Vincent Price stretching his acting range to places never before seen! Plus we get a younger Diana (Game of Thrones) Rigg playing his daughter. There is a lot of murder in this movie, and it gets progressively more gory and/or unpleasant as it goes. I found the gore to be especially impressive considering that Theatre of Blood was made in 1973, British and not a Hammer production. 833 out of 1000 If you love Vincent Price, you owe it to yourself to watch this movie! Here's a taste of what you've been missing out on... 😄 (edited)
