I had this phase where I'd seek out horror movies that were 3 stars and under for absolutely no reason and just binged them 💀They'd make no sense or the acting was bad and I was just thoroughly entertained.

Short horror story recommendation: An Inhabitant of Carcosa by Ambrose Bierce.

If the name Carcosa sounds familiar, that’s because this story written in 1886 later inspired the works of The King in Yellow and the Lovecraft mythos! It’s a worthy read, the short and sweet origins of an entire subgenre of horror.
