Perfect first date.

We meet at the laundromat and do a load of laundry. That's lame is it? Consider.. 1. It's a set amount of time doing a activity that's easy to leave or take further. 2. It's hanging out in a low pressure environment without any stipulations or commitment. 3. You can learn a lot about someone if you pay attention here. The kinds of clothing they wear. Do they use softener, dryer sheets ect. Are they also washing someone else's clothes- ie. Considerate. 4. Laundry is something we all have in common. 5. If they don't want to hang out and do laundry on a first date or find it belittling or don't even do their own laundry normally you just teased out a red flag. 6.if you don't like them it's not like you wasted each other's time. 7.if your sad after you have warm clean clothes and sheets to self care / cry on, lol 8. If getting to know them over laundry pans out it's easy to extend the date if not excuse yourself to go home. 9. You can even do it when you normally would so it's not like you are burning free time. 10. They ghost you it's not a huge loss. 11. You see them being a real person, or more real then most other date contexts. 12. Real relationship goals are someone you love hanging out with doing the boring stuff like laundry.
