Where Do You Fit In?

Society says the way the #poly #kink #kinky communities lives is completely unacceptable. Well, nobody asked them and I'm glad we are so open minded that we'll embrace others before we're embraced. So I ask where do you fit in? Which communities do you identify with the most?

I have been dating vanilla for 20ish years, and therefore it's hard for me to kick old habits. Also, because of my religion and the type of people I was raised around, it's hard for me to venture too far into kink. There's a lot of things I just don't "get." But I've also been a supremely bored husband for a number of years, and now that I'm officially divorced, I'm looking for a different kind of life and a different kind of woman. One who accepts who I am and what I need, rather than trying to dispassionately fit me into a creed.

I'm definitely a rigger. Definitely a Switch. Definitely a service top. Definitely a cishet, sensualist and an erotic poet. Definitely up for phone/text/remote control shenanigans! There's a list of things I'm definitely not... and the rest are up for exploration.

I feel like an outsider. I’m creative and flexible so I can be interested in just about anything but I’m not extremely dedicated to any specific kink. I’m too interesting for vanilla society and too reserved for kink society. I need to connect on an emotional level before I can connect physically and somehow I usually end up acting as some sort of emotional balm and completely ruining the mood.

Poly doesnt have to necessarily be kinky either, it could be a romantic relationship, for me i like the idea of swinging but im not sure what thats called besides hotwifing/cuckholding
