How difficult could chinese be?
I know the basics of japanese and korean, but I don't know anything about chinese language, and every time I hear or read it, seems hard asf. Considering they have similar vocabulary, shouldn't it be easier...?

Chinese is a tonal language, unlike japanese and korean. So same words can mean different things if they are pronounced with different tones. Eg. Shí（十）means '10', but shì (是）means 'is'. It might be quite difficult to get used to in the beginning, but listening practice helps a lot. Gramatically though, it's actually easier than both japanese and korean

The other problem you can find with mandarin is there's like 44000 things if you are writing it but a most people even if China won't know them a well educated Chinese person will know like 6000 so make sure if you do it you find the right ones to learn I used to be able to right it but haven't done it in years

I think it actually depends on what Chinese you're doing modern Chinese or mandarin mandarin is apparently incredibly difficult but modern Chinese apparently is not as

(note: not an expert by any means) Japanese borrows a bunch of Chinese, so if you have any kanji memorized, there might be some crossover. Other than that, it's gonna be at least as difficult as Japanese, probably moreso because of the lack of more-accessible kana (I think?) and then even more if you go after dialects other than Mandarin.

I saw a reflection on weekdays (and the etymology) – it atested that Monday unites the languages.
