What are some expressions that you like and use in your mother language?
For me, there's a lot, but I think this one is great: quem não tem cão, caça com gato. Its literal translation is “who doesn't have dog, hunts with cat”. Means that when you don't have all the tools to achieve something, you can try doing it differently. It's a good mindset for problem solving. 🥰

Went to German Fest a few months ago!
I went for two days in a row out of three! I was the only one I ran into that actually spoke good German though after my years learning it.. ugh. So much for German fest in America. I wanted more German speakers to connect with.
