A question for all those established men and women on this app, was it worth it?

I only went for 2 years but I really needed it because I went to a terrible religious school from K-12 that didn't teach you anything but religious stuff. I feel like college caught me up to what I should have learned before getting my high school diploma (basic math, science, and history especially). I never got a degree, and I ended up with debt, but for me personally it was completely worth it for both the knowledge and being exposed to young people who had goals and weren't beaten down by religion. I would have paid twice the money for the whole experience. If I went back I would get a communications degree. You get all the fun classes like a psychology degree, only it's way easier, you get far more electives so you can choose to study what you want, and it helps in essentially any industry or career.

yes, definitely some industries and trends come and go at a moment's notice, but a degree and a skillset is something no one can ever take away from you uni has a lot more to offer than just classes, too, and you should ask around as much as possible to get the most of the experience

Am not "established" per se. Self-improvement is a commitment I choose to undertake. I believe in life long learning and ensuing further studies at any age. Having the right work ethics, in my chosen field, and strong network got me as far as any graduate. Many here in my country have switched career midway in their 30s, once they found their "calling". Either way, don't live with regrets wishing you've never experienced University life. All the best ✨

Whats in it for you? TBH IDK 😂 I was just hoping to practice speaking to people to be better at my job 😅 So I work as a customer service and my current challenge is connecting to my customers so yeah maybe practicing speaking to other people will help 🤷🏻♀️

What I have learned and I’m continuing to learn is to be upfront about boundaries and non negotiable standards, not only has this save me from unnecessarily wasting my time but it has definitely saved me from heartbreak.

I feel like people try to blame you or don't like when someone actually lists what they're not into. I just thought it'd save both sides disappointment sooner rather than later.
I listed things on my profile, if you don't read it or keep it in mind at least, that's your fault, not mine or anyone else's. (edited)
