27dJust need to rant a little
Healing for me doesn't look like being less angry at my abusers, it looks like me having the appropriate level of anger and sadness about it when in the past I was not safe to feel any of these things. If you don't have the understanding and compassion in you to hold space for these intense emotions, please don't even attempt a friendship with me. Because I'm sick and tired of people who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about pushing this picture of what healing should look like according to them. The healed version of me, the healing version of me, is more angry, and more sad, because I'm holding a safe space for that and I now how the skills to channel that into things that are constructive or destructive but in a positive way. If this means you are going to find my personality as too intense or too much, I don't want to be friends with you. I've had too many people for too long shame me into shoving my feelings all the way deep down where they can fester and kill me or at the very least chip away at who I really am. I only have room in my life for people who can hold space for the darkness as well as the light. If you are a toxic positivity person, skip me. Thanks.

What are friends for if not a vessel for our most private emotions and feelings? If they are annoyed about me venting even if it was a freaking daily ritual , what are you here for ? Cause I am a human and I am not all rants. But you gotta accept me with all my good qualities and flaws. And it happens that i heal by expressing my emotions a little bit excessive. Which is normal for me , and sometimes necessary So I agree with you 👍 . Rant away sister.
