1. asthetics - not ‘pretty’; but catches your attention. For me it’s… well, I am not disclosing! (Oh, ok - NOT a picture of a cat/monument/flower/piece of cake!) 2. Similar traits; enough that you can say you should (in theory, presuming some degree of honesty on their part..) have things to help grow with - if you hike, they hike, then you can at least go for a walk and chat about other stuff (I can’t say I, personally, am keen on hiking - this was an example)! 3. Honesty - allowing a dip in their defenses and showing vulnerability - like ‘don’t want children’ (there can be reasons for this that aren’t for general public disclosure - so the raw honesty of such a statement shows character); conversely, they may WANT children - again, shows honesty in what their long term game is. 4. Contact - not straight up meeting, jumping into bed and claiming you are getting married - I mean actual talking over text, meeting up for a coffee, slow-cooking that attraction to the point it becomes a relationship (hopefully… or, at the very least a nice meal that you can both enjoy and maybe even stay friends if enough common ground is met). Yup. Pretty much sums it up. Of course; we all say we do the above - but do we? Do we REALLY do that? Rhetorical question, that last one - only the reader knows the answer.
