Just Saying

Here's a detail that I find funny. You have a person who bemoans people who do not stick around and who do not ghost you, despite the fact that they themselves can be guilty of it. In my opinion, if you want a person to actually wish to stick around, you need to take the time to socialize and interact with them. In this way, they will feel like there is someone worth waiting for. As an olive branch, I will concede that a lot of folks have busy lives. This is normal. However, if you're going to be busy and this keeps you from finding the time to spend with a potential friend, then you can't place all of the blame on people who don't stick around. If you don't have time, then don't be searching. If you really want to find quality connections, then learn to make time for them. Either make the effort or don't waste communication when there's so little of it. All told, I'm not implying that any of us are automatically bad people in regards to this problem. I'm just saying that we could perhaps use our hearts and brains a little better in terms of what we socially seek. A little more consideration could go a long way.
