It's okay to not succeed
This isn't meant to be a humble brag but.... i would say for most of my life I have been a successful individual. Whether it be education, athletics, or career wise; I have been atleast average to above average. I've always treated kind people with respect no matter their title, and I try to take care of the ones close to me. That is until recently. Maybe the last year or 2. I made a decision, left my job, and moved semi cross country to be closer to family. So far this move has improved the happiness of the others, which is what I wanted, but I've not had much luck. It's been a year and around 150 job applications. I've probably got less than 10 interviews. And I've applied for almost anything except the restaurant business. So here we are. As I struggle being not what I or others have grown to expect from me. I push myself to the gym as one of the few things to keep me semi sane. And the only thing that appears to consistently understand me is my puppy. (He's my boy, I'll love him forever). But it's okay to not be okay. Our struggles can be an opportunity to help others through their times of strife. Just try to control your frustration to not attack or put down others... and keep on pushing because someone will always respect your tribulations. And as I always say, someone somewhere always has a far worse situation.
