I remember back in my third year of high school, I had a friend from our church who was in the choir with me. She often brought her cousin along to our fellowship gatherings. One day, her cousin suddenly confessed that he liked me and wanted to ask me out. He even held my hand, which caught me completely off guard! I was so awkward because I hadn't even considered dating at that point. The next day, he sent me text messages, but the one that really got me was, 'By the way, your hands are really calloused!' I really want to punched him that time while reading his text messages! 🤣 I'm not sure if I was more embarrassed or angry! I guess I've always had calloused hands because I've loved helping my dad with repairs and renovations since I was little. I always enjoyed getting my hands dirty, mixing cement, sawing wood, and hammering. And honestly, I was more into learning how to cook and handle knives than playing with dolls. So, my calloused hands are a result of my childhood passion for hands-on activities and I'm proud of it! 😊
