Do Men Want Relationships?

When my brother was online dating, he had a tactic that I see often — he would put that he was looking for a “long-term relationship” even though he was really looking for hookups. I asked him why he did it and he said, “They’re just better and I don’t want the ones for the streets.” We had a long talk about finding a woman who is on the same page as him because “good women go through hoe phases too.” It didn’t make sense for him to trick women who were looking for something real and wasting their time, hurting them in the process. I would love to have a partner, family, and siblings for my kid. I want to cook for someone and greet him with a smile when he comes home. I want to cuddle in front of the television. I miss the level of intimacy I give to someone I love. There are just too many men wearing “long-term relationship” masks. (edited)
