I think long term is great, spending time with other, have someone for long time, can be good for your mental health, someone to watch things with, enjoy activities, two incomes are better than one, someone to be able to do things while your at work and vice versa. Short term lose interest, could have multiple lovers throughout the years, could get diseases, build up or mental health, etc There good and bad to both in general but I find it's better to have that joy longer, then shorter.
