What things do you think could be added to the love language concept? We already know of the standard 5. But I always wondered why music isn’t considered one. I express my love through music and song as well as receiving. I love to seranade for my partner. I love receiving songs that mean something to someone. I think it’s an intimate exchange. I love creating playlists with songs that remind me of a certain someone I am fond of, as well as receiving them in return. Music have the power to express from the heart what the tongue cannot. Is there anything else you guys think should also be added as a love language?

I've always considered music, the idea of sharing or "giving" music to another, to fall under the gifts sub-language. Chapman says all of the love languages can be expressed in many different ways so I've always felt it was more along the gift parallel. To use your example, even if you serenade your partner, the idea is that you're giving them something of yourself or trying to influence their mood in some way. Giving=gifting. But that's just me....🤷🏿‍♀️
