Given opportunities, they believe they'll probably be forgiven for a third mistake. But do what you think is right.

4Your answer tells you how much risk youâre willing to carry. Thatâs not about them, itâs about you. You donât have to align with their view of ârightâ to grant a second chance. You just need your own reasons that hold up. Sometimes the most principled thing is saying no and walking away.
