I feel like the main thing I pay attention to with MBTI is whether the other person is Introvert vs Extrovert and whether they're Sensing vs Intuitive
I feel like those seem to tell me the most about how I'll communicate with someone. What do you pay attention to as far as MBTI types, if anything? (edited)

MBTI personality type is an indication of natural preference, not skill. Someone who is a sensor can have very strong intuition. At the same time they would naturally reach for their sensing function first when they perceive something. People of the same type can behave vastly differently due to how they developed their functions

I look at the MBTI as nothing more than a guide-post. People individually differ and, thus, I have no desire to put someone in a pre-determined box before understanding them, if I can. With that said, oddly enough, I've noticed, at least my own subjective view, that I can give a general idea of how one MBTI will process the world over another.
