I detach emotionally and interactively. When someone lies so that I'll invest my energy, it makes me feel played, like i wasnt allowed to choose, with all the correct information, if i want to invest my time in them. That makes me lose interest, because I deserve honesty and transparency

I can usually either see through lies or see that the person is flawed and not be surprised later with lies

I step away if someone lies about becoming "that" more intimate someone. What else could they be lying about? How do you think they're not doing it for some interest?

Ask them why and see if they lie again, if they do walk away
