I'm so reluctant to talk to someone who has nothing in their profile.

I know part of getting to know each other is to ask questions but knowing a little about someone first certainly breaks the ice. Maybe it is harsh or naive of me but I feel like if someone can't make an effort in a bio.. then I wonder what a conversation would be like 🤔

Does anyone else find it uncomfortable to be called amazing before getting to know a person?

I feel like I talk to new people and before they get to know me they are saying how amazing and awesome I am, but they don't know me. I don't mind it if I connect and get to know them well. But it seems odd to receive these statements when I haven't even got to tell the person about me.

What is something that people do when you start talking to someone that makes you realise they haven't read your bio?

Mine is when someone appears surprised when I say I'm plus sized. I have very clearly written it in my bio and have a near full-length photo of myself 😂 If you can't take a few mins to read my bio then I don't think we will be a match platonically or otherwise.
