Sigh..
I'll share something that most don't believe when they see me or meet me... I suffer from chronic depression.. I have since I was a child. Every day is a steep uphill battle. I smile and put all my energy into being bright to help others, but I need days to recharge.. When I'm alone all the pain comes back in full force.. If you feel this way, you are not alone. Sending you love and a wish of peace for your mind and soul. ๐

Can totally relate. it's been a rough few years for me tbh and socializing can indeed be draining if the smiles you show aren't genuine. Some things to improve your mood: 1) travel outside your normal environment... at times, simply being away from everything you know can bring you clarity. 2) exercise. It can be tough at first, but once you get started, the brain begins rewiring itself so it starts to bring you joy. mental suffering is usually forgotten through physical exertion strangely enough. Good luck, hopefully we find our way to better days!
