I Wish I Could Be This Happy More Often

December 1st, 2020 was so different for me. I remember how nervous I still was meeting Lynn even though we’ve met before. I always get nervous. Not because she’s famous but because she’s very important to me and I don’t wanna mess anything up. I told her I probably was gonna cry and I don’t show emotion around anybody. I joked about having a heart attack from all the teasers and new music. She said: oh no don’t die please let me give you life, let me give you love, let me give you all you need. I said: you already did when I didn’t have it in me, you already do just by being you. I could see her wipe a tear from her eye. We didn’t talk about Lynn from PVRIS, that day or any day we meet because that doesn’t matter. We talked about Lyndsey that day and every day we meet because God blessed me with the honor of getting to know such an incredible strong woman and the bond goes beyond music because within our darkest hours, we were each other’s lights, we gave each other life. I wish I could be this happy all the time but if there’s one thing she taught me is that true happiness is possible because each pic of us is exactly the same, us smiling from ear to ear. Lord, bless my pal Lyndsey and rid her of the pain that ails her, and please don’t let that smile ever fade away.
