I used to move mountains for the ones I love. Argue over misunderstandings to resolve it, thinking that was how couples do it. Getting second, third, forth opinions from family and friends to take each of our side. Fend off anything that poses a threat to the relationship. Well I was young, still am learning and growing from each new connection. Is it bad that I don't want a Ride or Die connection now? I am just okay with whoever crosses my paths now. My mental health is utmost importance than any other relationship outside of myself. I give up easily now if it goes beyond reconciliation after a couple of weeks. It leaves me jaded and reminded how far I've come on my own. Life is hard, Love is easy, and Healing and finding one's Truth is a journey. There's no more needing the option of 'Die', if bridges fall let it fall.

I can relate to you because when I first experienced a true connection with someone I felt that was the end all be all. Only to find out relationships aren't that simple and people change. The first breakup I couldn't sleep or eat and I nearly died but after the cycle of back and forth continued I realized that there was no going back to the way things were. Such a hard truth I have to eventually accept. But the good news is there are more relationships to experience and I am convinced I will find the right person for me as I continue to work on myself and move closer to fulfilling my reason for being here.
