Thoughts on loneliness and lack of romance and how I deal with it.

When I'm dealing with romantic absence in my life (which has been the majority of it), I try to tell myself to understand that sometimes who we are and our circumstances in life mean that the challenges we have to face and deal with might be different from person to person. There are many times I would appreciate the embrace of a woman I find beautiful, but I also have to look at myself and understand that I am a somewhat eccentric person in the sense that I am both simple yet hard to understand both at the exact same time and that no person can really mirror me in the way that I act, feel and behave. It would make sense that I would have trouble finding someone for myself to confide in. So I deal by reminding myself that even though I'm just a man, likely no one really important(...and that is okay), I am still alive, and that even if love is denied to me I have still lived, however unnoticed. We are not all the same.
