Men's Mental Health journey BEGINS with feminism, not a rejection of it. So much of our issues come back to the way we were raised under the patriarchy and the cognitive dissonance between the reality of the world rubbing up against our sense of entitlement. When you are taught that women exist to "complete your story" and you aren't handed your "company issued wife" that you were promised, your brain starts to question your own validity, as if something is wrong with you because EVERYONE ELSE got "their woman" but not you. We men need to do a better job of seeing ourselves as complete WITHOUT the Standard Woman Accessory™ that our Ken Doll kits were supposed to come with. We need to see women as not "part of our story" but rather the fully-realized protagonists of their own stories. I see "Men's Mental Health" weaponized against women so much and it infuriates me. As if our mental health is a woman's fault, vs. a product of the system WE created for ourselves not working as promised because that system doesn't recognize a woman's autonomy.

Gunna have to disagree with you a bit here, for sure there are men who need to learn that they aren't the center of the universe. This idea of the "patriarchy" being responsible for everything is a worn stereotype that does alot of harm, making men feel guilt for just wanting to be treated with respect, which in turn makes men isolate and see any thing less than being an island as failing in their duty as a man. This also blame shifts the responsibility of a woman's bad actions to these men enabling further abusive behavior towards men because they just have to deal with it and any outcry is treated as being misogynistic. The fault is not with any patriarchy but with the outdated ideas of the old guard making decisions in government or business, equal pay in the workplace, access to womens reproductive health care. But none of these things have anything to do with a ln individual man feeling entitled to love and respect, we all deserve a chance at it and feminism isn't about removing that from men its about bringing men and women together to better understanding of each other.

Completely disagree here, I think men that complain about feminism this days are actually the ones that were raised by this exact ideals. It's men that are frustrated by society constantly telling them that they are at fault, and after failing at being the nice guy they overcompensate in the other direction.
