Is it weird to go see movies alone?
As a single mom I don't have many friends, and the person I would go see a movie with watched my kid when I go out. Would it be weird to go alone?

I've gone to the movies alone before and it's not a terrible experience. I do like going with people, at least one other, but you shouldn't have to worry about what people think or if you yourself are worried that you might not enjoy it. Think of it as an outing for yourself. Maybe visualize a fun day out and be aware of how you feel throughout and keep yourself in good spirits. Maybe get a little treat while you're out to reward yourself for being brave for doing something new! ๐ค
