Sinners
Immediately listening nonstop to the Sinners playlist. Blues like that is so powerful. I became such a good singer by listening to and copying so many black singers and other poc. Their expression was fundamental to my growth growing up. Fiddle music is everywhere because of the metis and the prairies here. But of course the country clubs were not actually for us we have to make our own. Growing up native you often have to latch onto whatevers near just to feel any kind of pride in being brown. Even when that comes from other people. When everything is so bare you look up to others who are speaking up. Singing and dancing over it all. I really adore the film including the native vaqueros. Because 100% the people trying to clean up the mess would be them. I love seeing a film that shows how diverse these spaces were. We only get to see black people in sad biopics. But obviously a country built on immigrants is gonna have those spaces. A film so centered on music, community, black joy, love and pain. All then followed by an absolutely fantastic vampire flick? Absolutely fantastic. I god damn love this movie

Alex Rider Series 🍿🎥
I haven't read the books about Alex Rider character but this teen Series was absolutely amazing and exceeded my all expectations...The only downside is that it has only 3 seasons 😮💨it should have had more seasons but still very underrated series and worth a watch 10/10 🙌
