Rate the Film: 1988’s Bull Durham
Where would you rate Bull Durham? Feel free to express your thoughts and opinions in the comments. For me:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This was one of my dads favorite films and even I enjoy it. It’s a unique baseball romantic comedy involving a groupie played by Susan Sarandon who picks a player from the Bulls minor league baseball team each season to take under her wing sexual or otherwise. To her baseball is a religion and “helping” this player makes them have the best season. She chooses a wild yet dumb pitcher played by Tim Robbin’s who can’t aim, but pitch fast, but when a veteran player and catcher (Kevin Costner) comes in he rejects Sarandons advances and helps Robbin’s character be a better pitcher. Despite seeing this by myself again, I enjoy the films writing, characters, and comedy. The three main leads are funny and charming as well as well written and performed great. Still one of my favorite moments isnt from the 3 but instead the coach of team who decides to instill fear in the team and what he says had me laughing and quoting it for a good while. This film is likely not for everyone because there isn’t that much story and plot, but I recommend giving it a try especially with a an audience.

It’s hard to pick a favorite movie of all time! I love Interstellar, Casino Royale, Batman: Arkham Knight (even though it’s technically a game, the story is incredible), The Dark Knight, and The Town. Each one has its own unique vibe that I can never get enough of!
